I really thought Estinien was dead at the end of The Aery. They're just that good.

It goes to show the level of skill they have with their Dragoon Jump skills compared to the WoL. Ya most Dragoons lack the combat ability of the WoL but they have better Jump skills than the WoL which gives them the ability to land at high altitudes that not even the Ninja Job would be able to handle.

The dragoon doesn't hit the ground if he miss. The ground split open as the dragoon pass through it, letting him keep is awesome speed and penetration force. He simply glitch through and eventually ends in anothers past Final Fantasy dimension and jump on Gilgamesh.

As the tooltip indicate thos; Returns you to your original position after the attack is made. So back in Heavensward.

If you use Elusive Jump to jump off a high location, (such as the top of the Observatorium in Coerthas), then you don't take any fall damage when you hit the ground so long as you are standing on solid ground beforehand. This obviously doesn't work for locations that have an invisible wall that catch you at the edge of the ledge, then let you fall, however. Still, I think that this is a good indication that if a Dragoon hits the ground when using a jump, then they're immune to fall damage no matter how far they fall.....

Either that, or they make the most satisfying "splat" sound when they hit the ground below.....

in our defense, he's been doing it for a while.

also we softened it up for him, nidhogg was on the brink of death. (see drg post 50 quest.)
