im guessing using blue scrip set doesnt cut it in regards to red scrip farming?? i get so many fish gets away messages during time windows ._.

I wear the blue scrip gear and catching the red scrip fish has been really hit or miss for me. I doubt that I'll be capping this week. I barely have 100 red scrips and will be raiding with my FC tonight and tomorrow. /cry

well really not much harder stat restriction on hw stuff, just most rng, so far i have not get any not enough gathering. And fish goes away will happens allways no matter of stats.

So blue script set & nq l60 weapon (same stats than halcon supra). The main trouble will be jewerly for good gp and spend less on cordials and maybe some push on gath/perc

meh took the plunge n spent about 2m on crafted gear since ill give to retainer at some point.. theres a real noticable difference between blue scrip gear n the crafted stuff.. with scrip gear i was gettin mayb 1-2 collectibles with the gear i brought i got 7 in that time window unmelded ._.

Yeah i have been using all HQ crafted gear as well, all melded with tier 4 GP materia. Being able to get one more precision hookset off in a fishing window for red scrips really does add up over time .

imo scrip gear should be meldable but perhaps just a lower cap than crafted gear cause theres a big difference in scrip farming between the 2
