Steps:
1. Started and completed all the previous steps and went to hand in the key items to Alberic (draconian flute and horde skull).
2. The two items were gone from my inventory after speaking with Alberic.
3. I received the four level 45 pieces, but not the level 50 ones (item level 90)
4. Alberic still has the green "completed" quest icon, and he keeps asking me for the two items. However, I cannot complete the quest since I no longer have them. I also cannot abandon the quest.

I had four empty slots in my inventory, but since the quest gives 8 total items as reward I suspect this might have caused the problem.
