    NQ/HQ Conversion of Existing Items

    From the upcoming 1.19 patch notes:

    •[dev1161] The quality of items obtainable through gathering has been changed to NQ and HQ (+3).

    Many were thinking that in the conversion of NQ/+1/+2/+3 --> NQ HQ that current NQ/+1 = NQ, and +2/+3 = HQ. Is this SE saying that, in fact, NQ/+1/+2 = NQ, and only +3 = HQ?

    I had the same thought when I read that, which is a shame, because I initially thought it would be +2 and +3 items, so I've been hoarding valuable +2 items. It would be nice to get a dev reply on this, as it seems rather important for crafters.

    It says nothing, it could be that the +3 got the old drop rates of +2 and +3.
