    Good news! The dev. team is currently planning to make the Custom-made gear purchasable from an NPC once you have completed the corresponding quests!

    I'm assuming that NPC is going to be the Calamity Salvager since all the other Unique Untradeable quest rewards are in there. If it's not I'm curious how it's going to be handled xD
