    Make dungeons more punishing

    I'm not 100% sure where we are supposed to write in game suggestions but this is a good place as any I guess.

    I feel currently that most dungeons are simply not punishing enough if people stand in red markers and other bad stuff. As a healer I often see other players simply ignoring mechanics cuz I can just simply heal+dispel them as necessary which is very annoying. Not cuz its hard but it destroys the feel of a fight. This is most commonly seen in a light party, which in my opinion is a very bad thing as I consider light party in one way to be a trial for bigger challenges.

    My suggestion would be to add a constant, stacking, non dispellable effect if you get hit by a mechanic you are supposed to dodge. 5% less potency to damage and healing and also increased damage taken, making these effects eventually oneshot the player. Make this an infinite effect lasting till the player either dies or exits the dungeon

    Saw a guy die to 1st nyx jump at start of aurum vale recently. "omg I didn't think it would kill me, I can normally sit in one aoe" He respawned and died again to it.

    And this is a lvl 47 dungeon. Do you notice how no other 4 man dungeons are this punishing? There is also un-esuna-able stacking poison debuffs that you mentioned in av. Also not to be found in other light party stuff.

    To be honest with you, you sound like you might prefer the harder 8 man stuff, 4 man is meant to be easy. hear hear to av though, still eating newbies for breakfast xD

    I find the demon book in library to be fairly punishing too. But that's how I personally think even light party should be. I mean, as you said the player said he usually survive aoe stuff and he is in no way punished for it. A player like that is gonna struggle so much when reaching actual hard content, mostly cuz the game never taught him the purpose of dodging and avoiding.
    It's not just for my own personal enjoyment, but also to better teach players that it is not okay to eat red markers.

    I totally agree with this! Soooooo many times people just "stand in the fire" because I am able to heal through it. Make more stuff like Titan! Ruthless dodging skills or you go bye bye, didn't take note of where the bomb spawned? bye bye. =P

    I think a debuff that reduces damage done would tick me off though. What happens when the person does 25% less damage and I'm still healing him while he is soaking in aoe damage... or what happens when he gets the 25% debuff and just decides to pull the next trash group just to take a death/wiping the group to reset the debuff.

    Just an idea but what if for the 4 man dungeons they simply increase all of the boss mechanic damage by like... a lot haha.
