My husband and I are probably going to return to FFXIV as our primary game. We keep comparing everything else to this game so might as well come back.

One thing we've found in our journeys across other games though is that we really enjoy the MMO more if we're in an active RP community. Even if we don't participate, something about the events and "RP walking" makes us feel really attached to the game. My best example is the server Landroval on LOTRO. The active community and random RP-ness make that game for me, despite how old it is.

So, I've heard Balmung is the place to be. What do you all have to say for yourselves?

Also, is there perhaps a casual, light RP FC that's recruiting?
