    I know there's some sort of technical limitation, but even 1 more free retainer would go a long way....

    I'm not sure if you can edit your title, but armory space isn't the same thing as a Retainer.

    I would actually agree with and support increasing Armory Chest space to 30. As for Retainers, I wouldn't argue against getting a new retainer, but I don't think it's necessary either.

    I would like some more space im my armory too, but don't mind if it's not posible. If your talking about retainers then you could always by another one it only cost a couple of bucks.

    I just wish they hadn't named the two main places of having equipment 'Armory' and 'Armoire'. Anyone whose native language isn't English will inevitably get them mixed up.

    That said:

    30 spaces in each part of the Armory, the equipment you carry with you and change between when changing classes/jobs: Yes.
    More items possible to put into the Armoire, the storage space for old stuff you don't want to lose: Yes. In particular the upgraded/dyeable artifact gear from ARR, the i90 versions of the same, as well as the i55 Crafter/Gatherer sets would be a good start.

    Technical limitations? If the game is saving the Armoire contents every 15 seconds rather than every 15 seconds WHEN IT IS OPEN and once after it's been closed, the game is doing data management WRONG.

    They really should have just used a "bank" for storage like WoW. Without the additional character data from the retainers we would have more tabs for storage. They could have done the venture system without retainers fairly easily using some shared presets for hirelings in different regions and a job board. Adding an additional $24 yearly for each new retainer gets pricy, and it's hard enough to justify a subscription for MMORPGs in todays gaming landscape.

    Also, I can tell you from personal experience those two dollars a month are a lot more than what is required to buy up more server space. Somebody is trying to get rich quick.

    Edit: History has shown that SE only listens when its profit margins are hurting. They won't listen to players until they are begging us to come back again, like what happened with FFXIV 1.0 disaster.
