Colossal bump!

New sightseeing log #62 HW confirms they are Meracydian. The Cathedral was used by a tribe of treelike beings believing themselves to be... 'remnants of Sephirot'.

There's a bit more too, about why it's even up there, and that it has a "distinct" Meracydian style.

The meracydian thing is interesting. The treelike being thing could be seeding for later.

I can see this renewing speculation that the original Qarn might have had Miqote origins.

Looking back on that Lore panel, all they said was that the ruins weren't Allagan, right? So they could still both be Meracydian?

Since Qarn's architecture is reminiscent of the Cathedral (Azeyma and all) what could it mean? Mercydians settled in Qarn? Or maybe it was another piece of Meracydian Land that was transported into that location by the Allagans for the same purpose.

I'm somehow doubtful they brought the mummification over though. That sounds more like a Mhach thing that Belah'dia reused.
