If you count the mats you can craft 11 items a week that should be enough excitement for the week.

Also youre not required to gear everthing. Gear one or two crafters and specialize in that sort of equipment for your sales. As of now there os not even a point in gearing Alchemist or Culinarian

Compared to doing 20+ max stars a day previously (not including mats) it doesn't satisfy me enough. Especially considering you have to spend over 20 hours of gathering just to do that.

Good joke. The only people with mats at this stage are the ones intending to craft items themselves because no one else has the funds or insanity to farm them.

No one will come ask me to craft a 2 star item when the mats cost 300 million.

Edit: Actually I've had a few people ask me but when I tell them the mat prices they can't help but agree the system is awful.

Would you even want to attempt to craft it in the first place?
I assume you factor in a botched craft when weighing up crafting something for someone or is that just me?
I sure as hell wouldn't want to craft something for someone that I couldn't replace with relative ease if I failed to HQ for whatever reason.

I would never botch the craft, I would just go for NQ and lower the fee. However with 2 stars, if you fail to HQ you've got an item equal to the 1 star HQ version meaning the item is as good as destroyed anyway.

That's what I meant by a botch, NQ is useless IMO with very few exceptions.
The amount of times I've gotten NQ items from quest rewards and they have been worse than my lower ilvl HQ gear pretty much engrained the fact that if you do not HQ you wasted the mats like you say.
