    718 Crafts/695 Control

Would anyone be so kind as to post your melds that allow you to achieve these stats?

I think I may have screwed up my Body and Head gears already. I went Comp IV x2, and Comp III x3 on the body, and Command IV x2, Command III x1, Cunning III and Cunning 1 on the head.

Did I screw this up ? Is it still possible to reach the said stats, or must I start over ?

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

Why don't you try this site out?

You can put in all melds and everything you want. A really great site to plan your gear sets.

I did a really budget meld cause I didn't want to spend a ton of money on it, but I did anyways...

http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/R1K6 With Baked Onion Soup, you should have enough craftsmanship.

Don't forget you can use food to make up the shortfall as long as you get one of the two to the prerequisite. Seafood stew/baked Onion soup give a healthy chunk of control/craft.

near full melds on everything no offhand/mainhand. I have higher with full.. yes can craft 2 star, have no desire to get materials to make any of it.

This is interesting but what I'm wondering is why are people putting CP+4's in first? I was gonna put a Control IV and a Craft IV in each piece that has 2 slots, then save over melds for CP using III's that I plan to farm myself slowly. I'm just getting ready to make my starter melds in the next couple days and I'm really not planning on even worrying about 2 star anytime soon, I just want to be able to effectively craft the stuff below that with a reasonable chance of HQ without all HQ mats >.<

Just so people know, the chimerical Hq fully melded gear is equally or even better than the red scrip crafting gear.

On melds I got my main hand full craft (I IV 4 III) offhand same but with control
Head / hands / legs / feet melded with 2 control IV and 3 craft III

The belt you can only go so far so everyone should have the same melds.

Accessories still the same. I haven't melded or place new ones in .

All this takes me to 738/684 ( craftsmanship is more important in my view due to the difficult)

Because CP 4 is cap, and CP is the most valuable stat. Every point helps. And overmelding a T4 Materia on the first forbidden slot isn't too bad with 29%

You can pretty much totally avoid grade IV materia if you want.

Use lv60HQ crafted gear (item level 150 iirc), all you need is to meld 1 Craftmanship III materia and 1 Craftmanship 1 materia (for head/hands/legs/feet) to meet the craftmanship cap for melds (it's only +8).
CP IV materia if you want.
Body you can put one or two Craftmanship IV.

If you have the old ilv55 HQ accessories melded to max (not hard, Craftmanship II/Control II materia is enough to reach the cap), you should have the minimum craftmanship for 60**.
To get the min control needed, eat that new food that gives a lot of control and a few extra CP. (Clam Chowder, preferably HQ)

I did not meld any main or off hand and I can craft 60** stuff.

Another thing, if you trying to craft something 60** AND you have specialists you don't need so much CP at all. Just have the require control and enough craftman and a boulle food and the specialist action will cover the entra control and extra durability.
