This would be a neat idea for the Cash Shop, if in the future we could have Hair style and Gear/weapon from other final fantasy games as purchasable for glamour.

How about Rikku hair? It's similar to Minfilias:

Or we could ask for more events where we could do the event in game and get the items for the cost of our monthly subs.
Why does everything have to be cash shop? Why not get to do quests or events, veteran rewards, etc.
They could do live in game events for this, or like...have an event going for a few weeks, idk, anything but cash shop.
Since Cloud's Armor is now a part of the veteren rewards . . how about:

Well its no shame that SE is a company that sells entertaiment for profit, adding any item to the game needs Time, Designing, and Implantation.
When the items is added to the cash shop will result a pure profit.. While on the other hand making the item an in-game reward is getting it for free.
Note you are subscribed in both cases.
So its likely to do it for extra profit, or wait till the developers give us something as in game.. to keep it interesting.
For the player it is hard to estimate and understand that some glamour/vanity stuff is free in the game, and some is not.Well its no shame that SE is a company that sells entertaiment for profit, adding any item to the game needs Time, Designing, and Implantation.

Should we expect that the stuff that takes effort is all moving to the cashshop and only trivial stuff is free?
It's hard to arrange that mindset with a subscription based MMORPG, there needs to be a clear line.
Moving haircuts into the cashshop goes a bit too far in my opinion.
Also I know the game isn't that popular but they did do a Dragon Quest thing.
How about hairstyles and outfits from the characters of Drakengard 3? I'd love to see something like that!
Hail to the Sultana!
I'm not saying to move everything to cash shop, but we should be considered about how programming, designing, implanting process. I mean SE could bring a company to implant 100 hairstyles in-game.. but who will pay for it? Even so, no matter how much you implant, our FFxiv community seems to get bored by everything in a short period of time.. so implanting something new in between refreshes the game. Yet if nothing is implanted for free will make the players drop the game. so Balancing is what we need.
About hairstyles in Cash Shop.. When I saw the Ponytail style is sold for MGP, I smiled and said to myself "We're testing the vibe of selling hairstyles, eh?" that was implanted to check the reaction of players. Anyways, I'd also like a hairstyle.. so Far I'm stuck between 2 hairstyles for more than a year and a half.
Personally I would love to see more weapon/shield/clothing glamours, but more weaponry ones. Sure we got some from the gold saucer, but some of them were kind of anti-climatic (The bow is honestly not very worth it)
Even more so, I would LOVE for there to be special books to MAKE said glamours, or even recipe pages for one glamour item at a time to be gotten, and have to do a small chain of quests to get it to be able to make it, or even having special daily quests where we can go scavenge for rare items (Like they mentioned in the expansion with special gathering only area with rare stuff) and we have to turn them in to an NPC to get but make them untrade-able
I've always loved games that had something like that in them, even if you have to go to every single end of the in game world for the items, it'd be an amazing way to kill time/see more of the game (I'm a sucker for in game sights being memorable/amazing looking.
