3.05 Crafting Rotation lv 60** Materials / Gear

I posted an entry on my blog for a crafting rotation for the new lv 60** Gear. In Jade Nephrite's Lodestone Blog I tend to post guides and helpful info from time to time. I made an HQ Griffin Leather... tested the waters with my 1st one and refined it a bit, basically it's the old 3* and 4* rotations with Muscle Memory at the start and a new finishing Progress rotation with the Brand / Name Skills. I'd post it here but I'm being limited to 1000 characters

My stats after consuming HQ Seafood Stew : 719 Craftsmanship / 715 Control / 430 CP

    Required Cross-Class Skills:

Tricks of the Trade - lv 15 Alchemist
Comfort Zone - lv 50 Alchemist
    Byregot's Blessing - lv 50 Carpenter
Hasty Touch - lv 15 Culinarian
Steady Hand II - lv 37 Culinarian
Muscle Memory - lv 54 Culinarian
Ingenuity II - lv 50 Blacksmith
    Manipulation - lv 15 Goldsmith
    Innovation - lv 50 Goldsmith
Careful Synthesis II - lv 50 Weaver

This rotation follows previous rotations for 3* and 4* crafts from 2.5 with some added "Muscle" and CP. Since Square-Enix has lowered the proc-rate of "Good" conditions for 35/70 Durability crafts we have to utilize all actions and CP. We begin with Muscle Memory because we can only use it on 1st turn, and in turn it only cost 6 CP as opposed to Piece by Piece that costs 15 CP.

    Muscle Memory
    Comfort Zone
    Inner Quiet
    Steady Hand II
    Hasty Touch
    Hasty Touch

    Master's Mend
    Steady Hand II
    Great Strides
    Innovation

    Steady Hand
    Name of *Element*
    Ingenuity II
    Brand of *Element*
    Brand of *Element*
    Brand of *Element*
    Careful Synthesis II

In total you need 512 CP, which is 82 more than what you have. This is a long craft so you'll be able to use 2x Comfort Zone = 28 CP. You need to convert at least 3 "Good" Conditions with Tricks of the Trade, actually the min CP needed for this rotation is 420 CP, from the picture you can see I had just enough "Good" conditions as I ended with 10 CP.

The mot important part is the Progress steps. Since I have just 1 Craftsmanship more than the min requirement This should work with 718 as well. Just remember the Brands + Careful Synthesis II need Ingenuity II in effect.

    Muscle Memory = 473
    Brand of *Element* = 332
    Brand of *Element* = 264
    Brand of *Element* = 213
    Careful Synthesis II = 168

Total = 1450 and we only need 1436.

The Brand / Name of *Element* is not Affinity-based as the Progress steps above were from Leatherworker's "Earth" element. The more you use the Brand there will be diminishing returns, but for just 33 CP this is better than some RNG based progress steps, let's face it after we gather favors for hours and trade in Red Scripts the last thing you want is more RNG and in the 3rd hit it's still giving more than an Ingenuity II - Careful Synthesis II.

Any skill with a <T> means it is safe to take a ToT off of a good/ex after it without messing up your rotation. Any with a <TT> you can use ToT before or after or both. Any gained ToT can be used to replace a HT with a precise touch if it is good/ex on that touch. <T*> has a comment that explains the conditions of its use.

    MaMa -20
    CZ -66
SH (optional save 22 CP for not using this, not recommended) -14
    PbP -7
    PbP -7
FTx11 +56 (only need 9 success and 3 have 100%) Total progress = 1149 Total CP used 58. Total Dura used 20! If you get 11 Success the rotation below will finish early If you get more then 103 for a CS2. After 9 success you can take ToT without messing up your rotation
    CZ -66 <TT>
    IQ -10 <TT>
    WN2 -90
    SH2 -17

HT 8 <T*> If you ToT after this you must move one of the remaining two HT in this set after the SH2. You will also no longer be able to take a ToT after the next SH2.
HT 8 <T*>If you did not ToT already during this HT you may take one after this HT and move the next HT after the next SH2. You will not be able to take a ToT after that SH2 as a result.

<Reclaim here if you are using it and do not like your results>
GS -24 CZ should wear here
<Innovation/Observe to fish if you have 14 or 18 CP extra> You cannot do this if you moved a HT previously.
    BB -24
    CS2

These Skills are required. You have 1 remaining slot for Innovation, Tricks of the Trade, or Reclaim as you choose. You may have more if you already have these in your class skills.
    Maker's Mark
    Flawless Touch
    Steady Hand 2
    Careful synthesis 2
    Piece by Piece
    Hasty Touch
    Byregot's Blessing
    Comfort Zone
    Waste Not II

Edit: Clarified which spots are safe to use ToT without altering the rotation. Added in a bit more rotation altering to allow more flexibility of when to take a ToT.

This requires very few dynamic choices and is dead simple to execute. The highest risk is failing rapid synth three times (out of the four attempt you have to properly complete your two required rapids). The odds of this occurring are very low. Outside of this you need 1378 base quality to reach 100% (if you get 11 stacks) and 2516 base quality to reach 100% (if you get 10 stacks). Let me know if you have questions.

    Minimum stats with food:
    Craftsmanship 714
    Control 700+
CP 437 (every 18 more allows you to consume a good/excellent with Precise Touch)

    Crossclass skills required:
Comfort Zone (ALC 50), Steady Hand II (CUL 37), Muscle Memory (CUL 54), Careful Synthesis II (WVR 50), Rapid Synthesis (ARM 15), Hasty Touch (ALC 15), and Ingenuity II (BSM 50)

    Rotation:
    Muscle Memory
    Comfort Zone
    Inner Quiet
    Steady Hand II
Ingenuity II (Make sure to get x2 Rapid Synth)
    Rapid Synth
    Rapid Synth
Hasty Touch (or Rapid Synth if one failed)
    Hasty Touch
Careful Synthesis II (should be one step from completion)
    Master's Mend II

Edit: Sorry I was missing a Hasty Touch in the Rotation, and I changed Manipulation to Master's Mend so 4 more CP.
Edit 2: Added Rath's rotation from page 7
Edit 3: Added Katlyna's rotation from page 14

You can edit your post to bypass the 1000 character limit. Also, Maker's Mark >>> Muscle Memory.

How many Maker's Mark can you do off a 1436? Then I'd have to take out Innovation and we only get 9 Hasty Touches. I like the Muscle Memory because it's 100%

Makers Mark is always relative to about 1/3 in total progress. So for 1436 I would expect about 11-12. While Muscle Memory is 100% chance, Maker's Mark increases the effectiveness of your first Comfort zone (allowing you to add another one), and gives you more chances at good conditions by increasing the number of steps in the synthesis.

It has the downside of requiring 2 CC slots tho.
Also, it makes it a little harder to use a fixed rotation since you need to take into account some Flawless Synths failing.

Maker's Mark has to be first, so you lose a proc if you use Comfort Zone or Tricks of the Trade on a "Good" and Flawless Synthesis is 90% so expect to fail at least 2 in 10 to be on the safe side. I have gone many crafts with 0 "Good" in 17 steps. I choose 100% at 6 CP as opposed to 90% at 20 CP. And you lose quality due to replacing Innovation.

You'd need to get at least 641 ( 473 Muscle Memory + 168 Ingenuity II / Careful Synthesis II ) Progress from Maker's Mark / Flawless Synthesis consistently to save 1 progress check to be more effective.

Use Precise Touch instead of ToT. Toss Manipulation. You can /tell me in-game if you want to discuss in more detail.
Toss Manipulation? Are you using Delineations? The "Good" procs on this gear are few and far between. My example is 32 steps and I got 3 total "good" conditions.
