Hmm, I never try using Rath's rotations without the HQ version of the tradecraft items (The Roundstones n stuff), but might want to try by the NQ version (The Ooids). Anyone can tell me how much is the difference by those two? I mean, is the difference between the NQ and HQ mats that obvious if applied to Rath's? If not, might want to start by NQ one, to save the Red Scrips Tokens.
Thanks!
For any rotation Rath's mine or otherwise you want between 1-2k starting quality. 2k is better, but as your gear gets better 1k becomes acceptable. The HQ versions ad GOBS of quality and make a huge difference. I usually cut NQ parts with HQ parts.

Hello, I have finally got around to 2* crafting! Made my very first Adamantite Ingot using Katlynas rotation posted on the first page, I used this rotation because it looked to suit me best. Thank you for the information provided in this thread.
I had a question, the rotation I used comes to a point after the first SH2 wear off and it says something like ("Carefull Synthesis II [Should be one step away from finishing]") which I was, but my biggest fear when I get to crafting the 2* MH/OH and armor will this still be the case? My biggest fear is hitting Carefull Synthesis II and the craft completing!
Is there a progress formula for crafting I should look into more when I do get more than -bare minimum- stats?
Thank you again.
Good questions. Yes somewhere around 800 the MuMe Rapid rotation breaks, completing after the first careful synth (at the start of the rotation). To fix this you would flip the Ingeunity II and SHII. According to my calculations you could do this flip as early as 770 craftsmanship. As noted below I've personally changed rotations. The rapid rotation isn't bad, but it poses more risks than the current MaMa Careful Synthesis rotation I use now. With this said the MuMe Rapid rotation is really simple to execute and less complicated than the other rotations. Which often times means less mistakes when you're tired, which does pose bearing on what you want to use.
The detailed notes for that rotation can be seen here SirPhatts:

Personally I've switched rotations to the top one in the linked thread, which has really detailed numbers on progression. Along with a youtube video showing general execution.

Thanks Katlyna, I actually found that post shortly after I did some 2** crafting with the Rapid Synthesis method, it worked well tho.
I am currently using the top rotation (Think it's the one the youtube video goes over) and it's worked out well, I had a couple 85% or so quality with Astral Birch Lumber, but you can only start that synth with 1500~ quality unless you use the HQ vendor materials. Thanks again for the info!
Welcome glad you found it helpful!

I want to thank everyone who has been so generous with their experience and insight. Using the information shared here i have been able to complete all my accessories, all my off hands, half my main hands, and today, my GSM left side. So far I have had only 1 NQ product. While i wish there was some practical application for all this effort, I am enjoying the sense of accomplishment i get as i progress through this gearing process. Again, thank you all so much!
Just wanted to peek back in here to say thank you to all the players that message me in-game with their wonderful appreciation, I've been a bit busy with Grad-school lately, the state of Connecticut requires all Teachers to have a Master's degree so I'm taking 3 classes at the moment.
I am eagerly awaiting the 3.1 update, I have been stockpiling my Red Crafter Scripts in hopes that the Favor Mats will be collectible during Expeditions. I'll have 96 Red Crafter Scripts by Tuesday. I'll also have MIN/BOT Left-side almost complete, will just be missing the BOT Head piece... and I'm holding off on Primary / Secondary tools as those are usually the 1st thing to upgrade when a new patch comes along.
I'll try to update my blog with more information that will benefit the Crafting Community![]()
I have actually not logged into the game, until today, since school started this year for my kids. So I have not been able to reply to any of the posts, although I did read them. I am glad people have made use of all of these rotations. Personally, I plan to catch up once the patch arrives and I will start adding any new info I find to these topics at that time.I want to thank everyone who has been so generous with their experience and insight.
