Okay learned how to be a flasher, now help me overpower my foes!

Okay after the stability of GLD/PLD tanking; I'm starting to work on MRD with the intention of opening WAR, before finally getting to DRK later.

So far for groups its Tomahawk>Overpower as the group comes in>move so mobs are facing away from party>Overpower>Maim combo ST>Overpower>Fracture+emnity combo tabbed through all targets>maim combo>etc.

    For ST/Boss its TomohawkX2-3 as I move to where I want the boss>Fracture>enmity combo^2>Maim combo>Fracture>enmity^2>etc.

Am I on the right track?(only 22 MRD atm)

Marauder tanking from 15-30 is just tomahawk then overpower spam on groups, and your basic threat combo for single target. Don't bother with maim until you unlock warrior and can start using defiance, because maim is risky to use without a threat stance (Your target can get snatched away by dps pretty easily if you miss just one skull sunder combo. Especially by lancers.)

Yeah as Galgarion said, before getting Defiance, be careful of using maim combo. Especially as you get to Haukke Manor. That is probably your hardest time tanking lol. But after getting Defiance, WAR aggro should be easy mode. One note though, watch your tp while using OP. It's a tp vampire. But, you can still use Flash when you don't want to spend that much tp.

I'd only use maim after doing 1-2 over powers that hit all the mobs. If you are cool though and got lancer leveled up along with Archer and you want to play a bit more on the risky side. You can set the TP restore from Lancer. The attack boost from archer..and blood for blood(if you're really risky) from lancer. And just go to town over power spamming with blood bath up and almost never run out of TP. If you're paired with a blm or a good arcanist (sch or summoner) the mobs faces will melt, assuming you're all decently up to date on gear.

when you're low on TP, use the Lancer tp restore move. Just pair one of the attack moves up with berserk and blood bath. Wooooosh. Good bye mobs. Works best in large packs.

Dont use maim!? Tomhawk mob1, run thru pack overpowerx1/2, maim on mob1, overpower if you think you need to if not cycle single target combos beginning with mob2 . Refreshing maim after an OP if you need to reapply. This is how I normally handle pulls. Spamming OP is a bad habit learning how to keep up your utilties at your disposable while maintaining threat will put you leaps ahead of many tanks at later levels

One thing I found useful is to throw in flash mid main/overpower combo if you're worried about losing aggro on other targets. Cross-class from PLD which you have done

Flash won't break your combo like overpower and it won't use your TP.

He already knows how to do all that, he was a maxed out pally. He doesn't need a refresher on the basics, he needs to go insane with the freedom he now has to do some obnoxiously large overpower spam pulls and luxuriate in how much easier it is than spamming flash and riot blade.

Actually it's the main thing a warrior should be doing on a pack of trash mobs more so at level 50 and beyond. Learning to know when to stop and converse TP for the next set of mobs however is important though.
