Gear Progression Continues to Make Little Sense

Or you could kill two birds with one stone and give the whiners their cake while ensuring that the content they created was seen by everyone. One would think that both sides would be happy, but it seems to have created a 3rd party, confused and angry that all of the gearing options given to them isn't as transparent and instantly gratifying.

p1: "I want raisin cookies!"

Law exists for gearing up for Alex Normal and EX fights
Eso exists for those that want better gear for Alex Savage or simply for vanity/easier everything else (EX fights, etc).
Alex Normal gear exists as the inbetween that can help fill out your gear while you're doing A.Savage or collecting Eso gear.

Quoting for truth. If you want a top tier alternative to Eso, run savage.

The model is the same as in all ARR series. Alex normal just gives us some extra filler.

Not really i mean the lack of space in this game makes me rather skip Alex and just farm Eso tomes i don't need anything more then law to run the 60 runs :P

This would create a logic gear progression path rather than creating an entire set of completely redundant i190 gear that is about to be replaced within the next couple of weeks while also following some actual logic in ilevel requirements rewards.

I actually thought it'd be better if they had made CT type gear's ilvl in between the tome gear and upgraded(like 200 for tome, 205 for "CT", 210 upgraded tome/alex), so you have something to wear until you upgrade it, but SE seems to love outdating stuff at light speed which is just a waste of development :/

I agree with you. i think there should have been some kind of content that's harder then alex normal to get the lvl 200 gear. But if they make anything difficult at all everyone just complains, so this is what we got. Top end gear from grinding fates and easy dungeons.

It's important to note that vendor gear exist to give a leg up to raiders who are stuck as well as offer gear progression for non-raiders.
