Also: Although the buff says implies you can gather from mining AND quarrying nodes - for places like CWH quarrying nodes here do not spawn the favor node as the quarry nodes here are level 55 (12 minutes of farming them and ZERO favor node) For the mining nodes I averaged 1 favor node every 6 or so minutes. 1 item every 6 minutes, for a turn in that required ten for a craft that requires 10 of these and 10 from another gathering class.

I've been averaging 4 Mats a Favor, I also made the same mistake and was gathering at a lv 55 node, I'll eventually have to buy these off them MB because of the dumb mistake. They should have made the Concealed Nodes appear more frequently, 15 x 45 = 675 minutes = 11.25 hours of Favor node gathering a week... such a pain!

And then u will hit the dreaded 0 concealed nodes in 1 or 2 favors. It'll happen when it happens its just that when it does happen, all u can do is just accept the fact that u were just unlucky lol.
Cuz yea rng decided to say nope, ur not getting nodes this favor.

I also had several 15-minute tries. With my rate of acquiring these , i need about 6 hours' concentrated gathering , to make ONE i170 crafter clothes.
People may make it easier to max out weekly script by afking and wait for the turn-in nodes, but this 11+ hours of hard work gathering ? There's no bypassing it.
And how many of you guys are willing to spend 11 hours per week ,to farm for stuff to ATTEMPT craft 1-3 pieces ?

Yeah right. I think i'd rather spend some time getting more of my battle classes to 60.

Burned 2 Favors and managed to hit 90'ish lv60 nodes in that time. Only got 4 concealed node procs which makes the proc rate LESS THAN 5%.

I'm so happy gatherers can now too feel the rng hell all the dow/dom relic grinders when through with getting their drops from dungeons. /s

It is certainly...aggravating.

On the other hand, the ooids seem to match the material the crafter needs, so the bare minimum is you get an excuse to grab materials you need while banging your head against this.
