    Final Fantasy XIV Sighting

    Last week I stopped by Fry's to help my friend look at computers. I walked by a 50" LED TV playing the whole green-monster-escapes-and-rampages opening cut scene from Ul'dah pre-rendered at max settings in 3D with 5.1 Surround!

    I almost had to change my pants. 3D movies are still horrible, but I welcome our future 3D gaming overlords.

    Last time I went into an electronics shop with my friend 'cos he wanted to find a new T.V, they had FFXIV playing there. Problem was the T.V they were displaying it on was very old and very broken so the picture came out horribly blurred and fuzzy.

    I saw it as well - in Australia. They were using XIV to demo a 3D TV and showed the entire opening sequence for Ul'dah "Flowers for all".

    What this tells me is that XIV has been 3D compatible for it's PS3 release, presumably from day 1.
