As a foreword, yes, I am one of those people who max levels everything DoH/DoL every chance I get, regardless of if there is immediate profit in it.
That said, I feel that improvements to the classes (even DoH) have been seen as few and far between, and some seem merely to be a "kick the can" move meant to either string us along or make us bored and move on to other content.
Sure, new gatherable resources & recipes come, but they become quickly overshadowed by another tier, so I don't consider that very ground-breaking new content.
Back in 1.0, DoL and DoH served a larger purpose, even in combat scenarios.
People depended heavily in some cases on consumable items.
DoH/DoL were star players in Hamlet content, often regarded as necessary inclusions.
...both of these have faded, and mixed content seems to be all but forgotten.
We want variety of play again.
I understand some feedback of hamlets was bad, but that doesn't mean it couldn't be restored bigger and better than it was before.
Let DoL get a bone for a beast tribe daily option.
Give crafters in-city and open world village fates. Give DoL their own fates.
Give us DoH- and/or DoL-welcome instanced content.
Give them team related options that aren't so static and limited as current workshop crafting is.
For that matter, if people put crafting furniture in a private room, please allow other FC members to activate it and reap benefits.
Give players craftable-left-side gathering gear from red scrips.
Give gatherers much more challenging (and valuable) target materials to attempt.
Please drastically improve the 3.0 version of desynth, give people a legitimate reason to level it past 110.
Please... please. Improve grand company content and restore the NPC and player value in what we can provide, apart from generating seals... to get more ventures... for rng chance at... stuff.
Consider giving us a new DoL class. Gnath are scavengers, yes? Perhaps they are skilled in retrieving surplus materials from dead creatures, and would be willing to share in their art. Which can be utilized in weaving and leatherworking, even boneworking (GSM)
I think we could do better to entice people to play gatherers (and crafters) for more than just dry, one-dimentional grinds.
This message is for devs, but if other people have constructive ideas on HOW improvements could be implemented, please feel free to share.
