I'm not even Mnk main but I am surprised there are so many people that don't like the design. It's based off of Yang from FFIV.



As for my favoites based on appearance, and more particularly how they look on my own character: Best = Dark Knight, Dragoon and Ninja, Worse = Smn and Sch.

Now.. personally I like the look of the Summoner AF2, but it makes my character look incredibly homosexual in my opinion, so no thank you. It looks extremely perfect on female characters though.

I honestly dislike the WHM AF2... a lot.

I really liked the i90 version of AF, I found it fit WHM very well. I wasn't overly thrilled when I saw the AF trailer, but I figured I'd wait 'til it was in the game. I mean, the hood was considered a hat 'n' all. So maybe it wasn't that bad.

But, no. It kind of is. The boots and gloves are okay, the details toward the top are a nice touch. They give it kind of a feathery look. The pants are the same as i45 and i90 AF, I don't know why I was expecting anything different. I don't like the hood, but that didn't surprise me. But the robe... ugh. The texture on it seems kind of strange, it looks like a mix between silk and leather. It flares out a lot at the back, making my character either look like they're part tent or they've suddenly sprouted Femroe hips (and as nice as hips are, Femroe hips on a Miqo'te looks really weird). It does have a tailbow, which is the only good thing I can say about it. .-.

[EDIT] I really liked the other AF's. SMN's is my favorite, by far. I think the shoulder pads on the BLM AF2 might be too big for my character, but I did like the uniqueness of the set.

I'm in love with the DRK, WAR, PLD, MCH, and MNK. WAR's axe looks like someone chained a rock to a pole and was like, "Yeah, that's good." And I love it, because it encompasses the wild nature of the WAR.

I'm indifferent about SCH, BLM, WHM, DRG, AST, and BRD. They're really take it or leave it, for me. But I kind of like SCH and BRD, because they've got a bit of difference to them, and I'm okay with mixing it up a bit.

Absolutely despise NIN and SMN. They look the absolute same to me. NIN looks like your generic 'dark shadow master' thing, and SMN needs to get rid of those goofy horns. I will never wear a SMN set that has that horn for a helm. Or at least I'll hide it. I'm an Au Ra, I have my own horns. I don't need more.

As for Land/Hand classes, I like a lot of them, so I can't really pick one specific one.

Sadly, tailbow is one of the things I disliked about being Miqo.

I miss my tail and fuzzy ears, but *really* hate the lack of hairstyles and tailbow.
