you have full HQ and full over meld gear correct? thats a huge HUGE advantage that most players dont have. I have full HQ sets but not over melded I got 600 gathering 650 perc and 603 GP

The stats I have are the base stats required just to be able to Gather and HQ Folklore Nodes. The GP is overmelded but that can be remedied with cheap +30 GP Food if you didn't want to meld. Technically if you overmeld perfectly you can reach 700 GP (with Food), gather 5 Blue Scrip items per node, at 500 Collectability with about a 90% success rate. My gear is just using base Folklore stats.

Gala.. for someone who prolly spent over 10 mil to get gear and get lucky on melds to come and tell everyone who is in either blue script gear or have spent a few mil on gathering gear and "safe" meld that its ez cuz you can do it.. is a joke. IM talking about the masses, the people who are just starting, the people who are not rich. How on earth can normal players gather these is a good time frame so its a job.

Rich? Lucky on Melds? I have Perception +6 in the Main and Offhands. Gathering +6 and Perception +6 in everything else. That's pretty much as basic as you get considering 80% of those Melds are a 100% chance. If +6 are too expensive you can use two +3's instead. Even if you stick with 600GP you still have a 95-97% chance to gather on Blue Scrip Nodes with that gear. The gear isn't even expensive when you buy the HQ mats and Craft it yourself or tip someone to craft it for you.

still not sure how u have 650 gathering and gp.. like I said im no where close with the same melds you speak of.

13 Pieces of gear. Add +6 gathering to every piece = +78. Puts you to 652 if your Left Side and Offhand are HQ. GP is a completely different story that requires perfectly melding your accessories; which I don't recommend and is not needed as 600 GP is perfectly fine at the moment; 650 is just a luxury which can be reached easily with Food and a couple melds if you really wanted to.

One swing if you have 650+ Gathering. I have 640/664/607, then use cheap food just to get to 650 gathering and I'm good. Can get between 2 and 4 unspoiled red scrips nodes with 95% gathering rate and 2 legendary red scrips nodes with 80% chance. Having all the books for miner and botanist let me get around 48 scrips every eorzean day. More if I proc Discerning Eye or get GP reduction on legendary nodes, less if I miss an attempt.
