Not signed. I really like the aura. Imo it gives the dark knight some originality.

/signed.
...and to those who post otherwise, you are helping this thread get bump'd so the MAJORITY can see and sign (hah!)

I would like the aura changed. If that's not possible at this point, I would rather have it removed. It's headache-inducing.
/signed
The current aura is just a terrible eye sore in this otherwise beautiful game.
/signed, this aura needs to be changed. People are getting headaches and pain in the eyes and this is not, because the aura is fugly as hell.
/signed Gimmie dat LVL 50 npc aura!
Signed in blood because that's super extreme and edgy of me.
SEE EVERYONE?!
SEE HOW EDGY I AM WHAT WITH ALL THE BLOOD! LOOK! LOOOOK!
Signed, though the current aura would be fine if scaled down a bit, that 50 npc aura would be amazing. /want
Signed in support, something smaller and less eye aching, please.
I am uncertain that anything bellow a thousand votes on "No" would grab the devs attention, and I can certainly understand why. It's work (regardless of how small it might be) to make a change that would directly or indirectly affect people playing.
Which is to say, I don't really expect for this thread to get an official response even if it were a "we don't plan on making changes to this effect". However, there have been instances where they stepped in on behalf of the fan's complaints.
What might be making it difficult, even if there was a will on the development's team part to change it, is that said change might inadvertently make more people upset with it. Can the effect at the very least be scaled down? Or turned off when not-engaged? Ultimately, I'd rather have the 50 quest effect a million times over the current one but if the best I can hope for is for this effect to be removed altogether, I'm fine with that too!
We were told the previous, more aesthetically pleasing effect was removed because it felt unnatural. This feels a lot worse, and I'm certain you know it!
Community Reps, members of the Dev team: please fight on our behalf! Please keep pushing towards your colleagues that the community really wants to see this change! You've done so before, please do it again!
In the great scope of things it's just an effect, one that breaks nothing. But let's be very frank here: The worst is that it's actively making the player feel uncomfortable, possibly induces headaches, turns people away from enjoying a class introduced by a recent expansion and is causing this much of a commotion!
Player health and comfort should come first and foremost. On an individual level it isn't as terrible, but a town full of red everywhere makes the very cities you built look terrible. What is more important, the atmosphere of the one character or of the game as a whole?
