<The Light Brigade> Is Looking to Start a Static

Greetings everyone!

<The Light Brigade> is a Rank 8 Free Company on Siren full of friendly people who just love playing the game casually. We come from varied backgrounds and have different obligations and interests within Final Fantasy XIV. We have a fully loaded FC house & airship and are always willing to help out our friends who are still leveling.

A small core of us are interested in forming a regular static to run things like Alexander (Regular and Savage), Coil (Unsynced), and Ex Primals to the point of farming as well as experiencing new content as it comes out.

Please keep in mind that this would be a casual static group. If you're in search of a group that will be on the bleeding edge of content, running 3-4 nights a week for 2-3 hours a night, this is not the static for you. We plan on running 1-2 nights a week for a maximum of 2 hours, possibly longer if everyone is up for it.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in we only have a few criteria:

• Know your class. We do not expect you to min-max and spend every waking minute theorycrafting but if you are a tank, we expect you to be able to hold aggro, if you're a healer we expect you to be able to keep people alive, and if you're a DPS we expect you to be able to kill things in a relatively quick fashion.

• Make an effort to gear up. Law/Esoteric Gear is relatively easy to come by just doing roulettes and extra dungeons on the side. You should definitely be rocking at least iLvl 170-175 if you want to be able to perform well. However, if you put in that extra effort to upgrade to your 180 set or even manage to pull off some 190 gear we would greatly appreciate the extra effort you've put in.

• Have some basic knowledge of fight mechanics going into a raid. You do not have to be an expert and know the fight inside out. Many people, myself included, cannot learn all there is to learn about a fight just reading a strategy or watching a video. Often times people need to learn by doing. However, by at least watching a video or reading a strategy you have prepared yourself much more for the fight and in turn our chances of success than you would have going into the fight completely blind.

• Don't just be in it for the loot. We want this to be a fun, close-knit static that is there just as much for the social aspect of playing with others as it is for the raid itself. Maintaining a positive attitude and understanding that this will never be a hardcore static will greatly help us reach this goal.

Still interested after all that kerfluffle? To fill out a static we would ideally like:

• 1-2 Additional Tanks

• 2-3 Healers

• 1-2 DPS (MCH/BRD/NIN/MNK Preferred)

To answer your question: yes at this time we are looking to both bolster our general active ranks as well as create a core static group within the FC. This is to help create a sense of community as well as ensuring things like loot from the static runs stay within the FC.
