after disconnecting for 15+ seconds the game really needs to force log you out or at least on the character select menu have an option to manually force log out.
the biggest headache is to disconnect mid dungeon and have your connection come back up fairly swiftly but to be unable to log in for 5 minutes + because your "character is still logged in"
