    Try On Suggestions/Requests

I spend a lot of time trying stuff on and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. I'm not sure if this has been suggested before but I figured there'd be no harm in asking.

    Would it be possible to...

Visor - Add a Visor button for headgear that you are trying on

Stance - When trying on armor and not a weapon, you can't use stance to draw your weapon. I hate clipping and some gear will clip when engaged. (eg. the brooch on Auroral Tabard's collar clipping your face when engaged as MCH.)

Build-a-Set - When viewing a list of gear, such as at a vendor or market board, would it be possible to add a way to try on full sets (or mix and match to a full set?)

Dyes - Ever try something on that can be dyed and wonder what it'd look like dyed without having to buy it? I have.

Loot Modeling - In addition to the above, would it be possible to add an NPC that will let you try on loot from dungeons, Crystal Tower, and the various Coils of Bahamut? These pieces are mainly for show now, why not let us try on pieces to see if we really want to run for them?

Gauss Barrel - There's no real reason for this one other than I'm dying to see how the mini-vacuum (Ferdinand) looks with Gauss Barrel on.

Nice ideas. The Build-a-Set and dye ideas are ones I've often wished for myself, and I'd love that Loot Modeling opportunity you suggest.

LOTRO has a nice Build-a-Set implementation in their try on window. Basically, the Try On window remembers whatever you tried on last. For instance, if you try on a shirt, and then select a pair of pants and try them on, it will show your character with both that shirt and those pants worn together. Then there's a "Reset" button that will change your Try On window back to the gear you're currently wearing. Whatever you try on remains tried on until either you Reset or try on something else for that same gear slot.

Would definitely be up for that build-a-set+dye.

I'm pretty sure that the memory/UI retooling necessary will keep most of these features low-tier for a while, BUT for the first two it should be very simple to do. The "Draw Weapon" button already exists, and why it's disabled when not previewing a weapon never made sense to me.

As for the /visor, just switch the "Show/Hide Headgear" button to do three things depending on how many times you click it:

    1) Hide Headgear
    2) Show Headgear
    3) Retract Visor (w/Headgear shown)
