Thank you so much, this fixed it even though IE isn't my default browser.Make sure all the SSL/TLS versions are enabled in your internet settings (inetcpl.cpl from search/run box). Windows updates have been known to reset them in he past and it can generate such errors (it basically means the page download was interrupted because of errors).
In case you missed the Lodestone notices, this is a known issue--you MUST have TLS support enabled at the OS level.
