    Clemency and Interruptions

    I like Clemency, a very reliable heals that is a really good addition that have many good situation to be used at.

    But, the problem is having a spell that function normally like every other spell where attacks does interrupt it very often to be used by a job that is expected to be taking damage makes it a very unreliable spell to be used.

    A suggestion, is either have a condition on it where blocking make it uninterrupted or to make it a completely uninterruptible to be used much more often and reliably.

    A proc would be cool (getting hit with a Crit?) that would allow a faster/instant cast and/or lower MP cost.. just thinking..

    Idk if I want the cast time to be completely removed though... I like that casting animation :P

    Paladins have a cast time on stoneskin as well, it's meant to be able to be interrupted ........ SE clearly knew Clemency could not be used while the Paladin was being hit.

    I get the picture that Clemency was intended as a heavily used item for an Offtank to use a bit more often, and an MT to preface with a defensive cooldown followed with the big heal in clutch situations.

    That said, I haven't been interrupted using it nearly as much as I expected. I do often preface its use with a higher defense cooldown more often than not, however.

    Clemency should become a gcd, plain and simple--like flash.
    Time spent is barely a dif, 2.5 vs 3.0

    But what this does is
    1) cant be interrupted--which frankly....were tanks. We take damage--its our job.
    2) allows us to use this power and still block/parry (spellcasting prevents you from either). Remember..were tanks. We take damage--its our job.
    3) It scales off skill speed (on our gear) vs spell speed (not on our gear). Cause you know..we are a Discipline of War Class, not a magic.
    4) The spell will land a bit faster, which is great because if you try and heal anyone else with this, it becomes 80% over healing. Its too slow compared to the rest of the raids healing, and if someone is still low after 3 seconds, you are having some serious issues!


    Thats not saying its not useful--it is, it has times where it shines, but making it a GCD would make the ability fit in with our kit much better. Also--its still mana gated (the main reason you cannot spam it)--that wouldnt be changed of course.

    Would Hallowed Ground work towards not being interrupted?

    What about Sheltron?

    Of course I'm talking about being MT.

    On another question to SE, it would be nice to be able to use the cross-class abilities like "Raise" and if we have unlocked the potential of WHM to use it while in combat: with it we could really feel like a Paladin..

    I would waste a HG to raise a Healer, anytime in order to win a fight against a Boss!

    Raise - Protect - Stoneskin - Clemency - Divine Veil - Cover - Convalescence -> Just Awesomeness.

    You're rarely being interrupted if you're off tanking.
    There are moments when you're not being hit at all or bosses aren't able to interrupt you
    Such a thing as time & Place.

    How about..... you just learn to cast it while bosses are using a castbar? Or between any other mechanic where the boss or mob isn't hitting you....?

    Interruptions are determined by amount of damage taken during the cast in comparison to the caster's max hp.

    Attacks that interrupt a Str tank will not necessarily interrupt a Vit tank.
