The only issue I have with it is you can't buy the upgrade items with law/hunt currency. It should not be in the raid, because the raid drops that stuff already. Lol!

Seeing as you would be upgrading it to gear equivalent to Gordian gear, it makes perfect sense. Raiders aren't going to be looking to deck out in all Savage Alex gear but rather a combination of it and upgraded Eso gear. It is how it has always been.

They will give casuals access to the upgrade items more freely in a later patch, as always.

You would be getting the raid pieces before the upgrade items. The raid pieces even though they have the same Ilevel, most of them have better stats.

Of course you would be getting Alex Savage pieces first before Upgraded Eso (well actually this depends on how your static is handling gearing). However, you would be filling in with Upgrade Eso in order to gain BiS. Not every piece of Savage Alex is ideally itemized. -__-

Its the same flow as always and it makes much more sense this way. As you progress through Alex Savage your are going to get Eso pieces and as you get Alex Savage pieces you are going to upgrade Eso pieces and all of which are going to go in their respective slots that are the most ideally itemized.

If this made so much sense then why even let the casuals have access to eso. Why didn't they just put it all in Alex savage and be done with it.

not true, that's totally dependent on what pieces drop and where they drop and who got the drop.

just because someone does Savage doesn't mean they are clearing all 4 floors, just because they are clearing all 4 floors doesn't mean they are getting the drop that they need.

Which shouldn't and should never have been the case imo. Cause imo they shouldn't punish the casuals. Since the casuals are what they made this gave for if I remember correctly.

Punish the casuals? The casuals have access to easily obtained i200 gear, MUCH higher than necessary to do ANY of the content in the game tailored for casuals. None of the EX primals or Alex normal require anywhere close to that level of gear and yet casuals can get it without issue, and later on they can upgrade the i200 gear to be on PAR with Alex Savage gear. That isn't punishing! That is the biggest blessing you could ask for as a casual!

Because people enjoy progressing their characters, this is a rpg....
