LOL, what is the point of this thread. The only valid compliment the OP makes is the inventory issue and the fact we shouldn't need to pay for additional retainers.

Other than that, this is just like it was back when the i90 Myth set was purchased with Myth tomes.

On a more positive note, the SMN (minus the horn) and AST gear is just gorgeous, and I will definitely own those sets in the future.

I don't follow you, Myth was the next stage of AF gear, it was just called Myth because we bought it with Myth tomes.

As for the raids, the easy mode Alex is fine, it helps casuals experience the story (or lack of in the case of this raid) Savage is harder, and introduces more mechanics and harder dps checks than the original so it still fulfils the criteria for the serious raiding scene.

People on this Forum just love to cry about everything, I for one feel like we have had it pretty good this last month, I'm enjoying having serious content again, having lots of new gear options to chose from and new classes to play.

Really what about the fact we jumped about 50 item levels in just under a month of gear not to mention no one has a full set of The abomination that is Alexandre story mode.

Also they said they were going to add in more drops because of the loot wars well....where are they?

Odd, I thought it was AF3. Just going off of XI:

AF1: Quest gear. Upgradable to +1.
AF2: Dynamis drops.
AF3: Empyeran gear. Upgradable to +2.

As an example, AF1 for DRG was "Drachen" gear. AF2 was "Wyrm". Both sets exist in XIV, completely independent of each other.

It's not 2 weeks. It's 6 weeks. Weapon is first (if you care about your performance) which costs 990, taking 3 weeks to obtain, but that extra 90 tomes digs into the cost of the next item capping you at 810 tomes for an extra week. 3 weeks for weapon, 3 weeks for chest, 2 weeks for legs, etc, etc

no, the stuff we have now is af2. was even stated as so during the live letters and in the concept drawings. myth gear lore-wise is refined af1 gear.
