Can we get rid of the daily post limit?

lol, GL with this thread. Players have been complaining about this since day 1. Back then most were <50 so the post limit was even more ridiculous.

If SE isnt restricting the hell out of something ...... its just not SE.

Honestly, im surprised they dont already have a monthly cash shop upgrade to post limits...

I easily answer 10+ threads in a day, each about a different topic, so it's NOT about making a point and arguing.
And I CAN'T! I get cut off. There are ZERO upsides to a daily limit, and a bunch of downsides = it's stupid.

You have only ever hit your daily post limit ONCE.

I agree with the text limit being changed since it is easily avoidable, but I don't see what you are complaining about with the daily post limit. You are just raging to rage about that part of the debate lol.

...oh and for my opinion on the matter, no I don't think the post limit needs to be raised. Velisra above is totally right.
Take away the post limit and you will start to see hundreds of worthless one word answers to questions instead of people taking a bit of time to get their entire thought out in one post.

To prevent threads like this from going on for thousands of enormous posts....like this thread has spiraled into. It also limits spam.

Because it's bad to discuss stuff in a forum called "General Discussion"... LOGIC PLS!
Also apparently it's better to have short posts which leads to misinterpretation, lack of info, and general annoyance!

Ban the spammers, remove the limits = everyone is happy.

There is also the issue of some issues getting bunches of threads going. Look at all the treads we recently had on BRD/MCH. Look at all the threads about the lag and disconnects.

It is not uncommon to have intense discussion in multiple threads...the post limit can stifle participation in such cases.

The posting limit, and especially the limit for creating threads until reaching 25, are bad ideas for new players. When a new player has questions in a game that has relatively quiet chat channels, and that new person comes to the forum to post instead, it's frustrating not being able to ask questions in a thread. This only drives newer players toward third-party forums which don't have such silly restrictions.
