Create-A-Race Thread

I'm bad at making race names so I'll just call them what they are.

Avian race (harpies)
Half man half bird people, that come from windy mountanous foresty areas. They "nest" in caves, huge trees and mountaintops. These people are a fierce race that only group up for hunting huge animals. Some of them are not satisfied with this solitary life and so they become adventurers. They could have the ability to fly without a flying mount! The legs and hands are a bit odd so they could have gloves and boots hidden so no remodeling needs done. The hair would be made of feathers and it would be hidden with certain helmets like it is with current races. There should be a feather option on the character creator to adjust the amount of body feathers, and also different tail options. This picture should give you the idea, although those arm and tail feathers need toned down a bit.

Males would be quite slender and a bit shorter than females. Kind of like this but with similar wings as the female one has.


Fish race (this one is known as Jinyu in WoW)
They come from, you guessed it, the ocean. A very intelligent race that know magic well. The genders look the same apart from a few colour differences. These people form huge societies that work in perfect harmony, almost like ants. Some don't like the role they are given and so they become adventurers. There might be some issues with gear modeling again and I suggest the same solution as with the harpies. I would like the ability to choose scale colours and fin shape.

I like this idea! given that Heavensward is sky themed, for the next expansion they should explore the depths of the oceans. Maybe more of a cross breed "Atlantian" kind of look to fit more with gear models. Found this image in google, somethng more Hyur like though instead of lanky.

Oh gosh I love these and DEFINITELY want lanky. Would love a race that strays from the obviously human body type. Something with some more alien proportions would be awesome.

Game could use a stocky, medium sized race IMO. Like Dwarves. I dont mean actual Drawves but a race with similar proportions and height between Lala's and Midlander.
