Something which isn't human/animal features. So far all the races seem bland to me need something more exciting. Also, the fact that this is a Japanese game chances are most races will be like what we have now all cute and pretty

Gria, from FFTA2. Th' Au'ra were such a damn tease in that department. All th' Ivalice races we got so far are jus' humes wit funny ears so they'll fit right in.

Goin' for somethin' a lil' more exotic, Bangaa or Nou Mou'd be nice. Both got that special place in me heart.

I dearly want a race that's like Garuda-esque. Tall, slender, and feathered. It could go bird or angel, idc, I just love the idea of a feathery race. Hopefully not feathers for hair, but with feathered ornaments in their hair. Feathers on most of their body except their face and torso. Big bushy feather tails. Gimme.

Avian race (harpies)
Half man half bird people, that come from windy mountanous foresty areas. They "nest" in caves, huge trees and mountaintops. These people are a fierce race that only group up for hunting huge animals. Some of them are not satisfied with this solitary life and so they become adventurers. They could have the ability to fly without a flying mount! The legs and hands are a bit odd so they could have gloves and boots hidden so no remodeling needs done. The hair would be made of feathers and it would be hidden with certain helmets like it is with current races. There should be a feather option on the character creator to adjust the amount of body feathers, and also different tail options. This picture should give you the idea, although those arm and tail feathers need toned down a bit.

Males would be quite slender and a bit shorter than females. Kind of like this but with similar wings as the female one has.

These are all just ideas of different races from other games. Of course, the most popular race by far is the Viera, because you know... men... I personally like the Amani from Tera, the Sylvari from Guild Wars 2, the Zora from Zelda, and the Viera (as long as there is a male counter part... because you know... gay men).

I just want a flippin bird race. If ANY MMO had a cool looking playable bird race I'd play it in a heartbeat.
Something like WoW's non-corrupted Arakkoa.
