Why do we still have Poetics, and what about old content?

Okay so with the new patch and the new tome, I'm sure people were expecting Poetics to go bye-bye; though I admit to suspecting they might stay. Well they did stay, and while that isn't bad, it's a slight issue, maybe. I understand why Poetics would stay as its the highest currency for ARR players who don't have the expansion, and we could still use it for a few items. But for us older players Poetics is basically worthless, but I'll still get them from doing older content in roulettes. Maybe they could add a new place in Idyllshire where we could trade in 2000 poetics for like 250 Law or something, something to make poetics worthwhile for older players.

Additionally, what about older content. Coil, Crystal Tower, Old Ex Primals, I mean for those of us in the expansion these are basically worthless. There needs to be an incentive to make me want to do it, beside glamour gear, give me Law, give me Esoterics, give new drops/quest for level 60 players to do old content to unlock the new upgrade gear, something, anything.

I totally agree with you on this. We have a full bodied old content in 2.0-2.55 that serves nothing but nostalgia, except for daily roulette, there is no reason to do it again. Just you wait till relic 3.0, I bet you anything they will include the same old content again in the grind to give people "reasons" to do it again, and this time they will troll hard with RNG so you have to do it 5-25 times to get the drop....
