Hi there!
So I'm having a strange issue that has happened once before, but was fixable by copying over my 2.0 Beta config to the 2.0 release config. It seems to have happened again after the previous update from 3 to 3.05
I use a PS2 Duelshock2 Controller along with a USB adapter. The controller works fine with other games and the D-Pad in particular is able to be picked up. When I use the "calibrate" feature in FFXIV though, it will not pick up the D-Pad onPress events. I can skip though the config and the rest of the controller will take though. (So everything works correctly, but I cannot target since the directional buttons are not registered.)
As mentioned, this happened once before during the release of 2.0, in which fix was to copy over a .cfg file from the BETA install over. (which had the working controller config.) It's been awhile unfortunately and I cannot find that original fix though. I've tried to copy/paste the \<GamePad Settings\> from FFXIV.cfg but I don't believe that was the right thing to copy over.
Code:
<GamePad Settings>
PadGuid 538050324
InstanceGuid {BC4416F0-D86D-11E2-8002444553540000}
ProductGuid {30130E8F-0000-0000-0000504944564944}
AlwaysInput 0
DeadArea 0.550000
Alias {90,91,88,89,41,40,32,33,73,72,48,49,1,3,2,0,4,6,8,5,7,9,11,10}
ForceFeedBack 0
PadPovInput 1
So yes, does anyone else play with this setup? Or experienced the same issue? Any information I can share to make troubleshooting easier?
