- Map looks ok, but isnt the new mode just a reworked secure sort of? Theres not much difference. Quite boring to see that you can basicly win the game with just a little amount of real pvp involved in it. Just hold a "flag" and you will be fine. The percentage of how pve content influences the result of a match is way higher then secure and slaughter.
- Rank restriction removed. I understand that they want to make it easier for newbies. But with removing all restrictions on the gear its like you give you coil2/3 gear like free candies. Even if this pve content is outdated and of course outgeared players still need to put effort into it to obtain their piece of gear. On the other side, players can just go in the new pvp mode, stay afk in there for a few games (Already seen) and thats it. Not very entertaining for me as real pvp player. Today, i already asked a few players why they are afk, not trying to win and whatnot and they give me the answer "I dont care, just here for a few games so i can buy that nifty glamour gear). Well, then i am there with open mouth and dont know what to say.
- Still gc restrictions. Yea Square, players telling you since a while that this system sucks bigtime but we all knew you know better.
- New pvp gear looks like generic trash (Okay, as first lvl60 set i am okay with it)
Also this means that there is currently no real endgame for pvp available. Since the animal gear is now free for all, we only have generic trash gear as "endgame" for pvp. Raider ALWAYS have some kind of crazy gear they can show of. The "old" coil gear starts getting common when square adds a new raid with new raid gear. Means they always have super cool gear available in endgame. Pvp players only got trash gear. Hell i dont even want to grind that trash (Ok, Monk fists are fine tho). Why didnt they just add a new glamour/special set of pvp gear available to endgame pvp players alongside with the removing/lowering of old pvp gear restrictions? New players could get their hands easier on old vanity gear, while veterans could work on new one.
- So, since the old i110 weapons had morale +25, wich makes them basicly a i135 weapon, i was assuming new frontlines would be kind of i135 or so, so it would make SENSE to actually have morale on that gear. But since new frontlines is i180 or so (idk exactly but it was way higher than i135) there is no fucking point to even have morale on pvp gear since there is NO content where it would work out. Just remove morale completely and call the pvp gear pve gear. Might be better.
- Can we start talking about materia on pvp gear and why its not working in pvp?! Does that make sense? No? Yea, your right. Doesnt make sense. Yoshi thinks you would be to superior with allowed materia in a pvp mode with 72 players involved, where zerg dominates and your own skill nearly doesnt matter. But did you know they allow you to eat buff food in frontlines? Wich is...some kind of materia basicly. Yeeeaaaa....
Oh guys i dont have more time to write, the list is just to long.
I my eyes, they just did manage to screw up pvp even more. I think such a huge expansion like Heavensward should be the point, where major changes could and should happen to pvp. But all i can see is that they still dont listen to their pvp community and still giving a fuck about pvp in general (Even if Yoshi keeps saying how he and his team loves to pvp).

). Why didnt they just add a new glamour/special set of pvp gear available to endgame pvp players alongside with the removing/lowering of old pvp gear restrictions? New players could get their hands easier on old vanity gear, while veterans could work on new one.
