Why don't people pvp??? So many subscribers and 30 minute wait queues.

In pvp you test yourself against real players not brain dead pve mechanics! Come join the fun and fill the queues!

You think pve is fun? Well! In pvp the battle is that much more entertaining when you fight someone with a brain!

Many reasons to PVP!!!

-Gain new tomes!!!
-Make friends and enemies!
-Gain fame by either being inept or majestic! xD
-You know those hardcore guys that farm extreme raids etc? Well! You can now face them!
-FUN!

So join the fight and queue up!

it's not that people don't want to, it's because of the GC restrictions lol
I'd love to PVP but those timers are horrible @_@ it's not always 30 mins queues, sometimes it takes longer than that

I don't have the reflexes for it, pure and simple. Tried pvp in many MMOs over the last 12 years and I just have not got the manual dexterity to move like good pvpers.
Combine that with the fact I can't even party up for it with my personal friends or most of my FC because of the STUPID GC restrictions and that's the end of that.

This new mode is so much fun. I've been quite negative about the game recently but this has picked me up on such a huge scale.

But it has great pvp potential Back when the pvp cap was 30 the community was awesome. Everyone played together and knew each other. Now with new frontlines I'm surprised not many people want to try it.

I think the main reason PvP is not that big in FFXIV is due to the skill cooldowns. PvP feels slow compared to other MMOs where PvP have a bigger focus.
Ofc I am basing my opinion on all the "FFXIV feels slow" comments I've read so many times from ppl giving FFXIV a try.

Edit: I started my own PvP career today and sure it feelsd slower then other MMOs I've played, but I am really enjoying this. But, like with all games, not everyone have a brain. -heh-

Playing a Paladin in PvP is so absurdly boring. It's nice that the PvP Animal gear no longer requires a Rank to purchase however I still cannot find any motivation to drag this class into another dull arena.
