    Cant adjust map window size.

    Hi
due to my graphics card being faulty and needing a replacement i have had to go back to playing from 4K to 1080

now i cant change the size of the map window i can adjust the size of the map but not the window itself

im not talking about the circle map

i cant move to the bottom to get the part on the corner to adjust it coz if i move the window as far to the top as i can i am still only halfway down the window

i know it can sound confusing

anyone know what i can do?

when i press x on my 360 joypad that opens the window but theres a big wide open space apart from the top left hand corner of the map in the bottom left corner of the tv, i cant fly and adjust the map at the same time

I'm not sure if this goes for map window but one thing you can try is to go in the HUD adjusting interface from main menu, and see if the map window is in the menu. If so, select it and return it to default size. Another way that works to some windows is to right click their title bar, and you can return it to default as well. Again, not sure if this works with map window and I'm not in position to check my game at the moment.

If you say 'pls' because it's shorter than 'please', I say 'no' because it's shorter than 'yes'.

    Hi
First thanks for the responce, its appreciated.

theres no option in HUD settings, also if i right click the title bar there are 3 options return to default position (all that did was center the map in the window), scale window (which is greyd out) and close (just closed the window).

Just a thought, increase your resolution to get the whole window on the screen, make it small, and return to your currently playable resolution. If that's possible and don't crash.

I know that if you're using a gamepad, you can click through different sizes for the currently selected window (or the selected HUD element while rearranging them) by clicking the right analog stick. No idea what the keyboard shortcut is, but I'd try selecting a window and pressing plus or minus, for starters.

This is a really handy function to know, especially if you're like me and don't like too many HUD things cluttering up the screen. Works on the PS4 and I would presume the PS3, as well. The sole exceptions are the chat and the map, which can be resized with the mouse by click and dragging the corner.

The default keybind for that in pc is Ctrl+Home though it can be changed in keybinds. I think the smallest it allows is 60% of the original size. However, as stated this propably dosent work with map window. I seem to recall somewhere in the ui is a button for resetting all the Gui to default, but not sure if this either effects the map. And if your hud is heavily modified, will be pain to return it.

For most windows, you can just rightclick with the mouse on the "title bar" of the window and you can choose scaling on a menu... But that option is greyed out on the mini-map >.<

I don't suppose "return to default position" would bring the bottom right corner into view?

2022, PS5, I am having the exact same problem.
    (4K settings)
It has taken ages to setup HUD and I am not risking changing base resolution settings as the client usually starts guessing how rescale the cooordinates for all your elements.

2024 my issue was that I had the User Interface Size in the settings set to 300% (Available only in 4K resolution). I changed it to 100% (which made my UI super small), adjusted map window size to very very small, and then returned to 300%.
I guess this only works if you are not already in a smaller resolution, but it may help someone.
