Once you stop gaining enmity.... soo pretty much after you cast a spell you can gain mp? Hmm don't think so... Why even say anything at all then?


Its because you recover at progressively increased rates the longer you stand still.
if you incur enmity your rate resets, if you move your rate resets.
once you're in passive mode and standing still you'll start to recover. You'll get increasingly better ticks the longer you stand still unless you incur more enmity then you start over.
It's simple.
If they got rid of all recovery while in a fight it would be devastating to mages.
Great, so now instead of being able to move through areas after killing a mob, we have to STOP. And stand still, thus increasing our travel time greatly if we want our HP/MP back?
WHAT. THE. FUCK.
It was fine before.
It's pretty much the only game I can think of where you can actually just regain-HP/MP after killing a mob by exploring/walking around-to your destination.

You have to wait for your tanks to get hate at the start of a fight anyway and the longer you are still the faster your MP recovers, so it's more beneficial to travel a bit then stop for a much shorter amount of time then stopping after every enemy.
Also MP recovery while moving was already super slow and if you're in constant fights while traveling it wouldnt make a difference.
Well I'd rather at least be able to move and regain if i'm just moving from one location to the other killing on the way. Not
Kill stop...Kill-Stop, Kill-stop.
This is especially true for the people who don't have healing spells/healing actions allocated to their action bar/haven't gotten them from their respective classes.
Rest healing is obnoxiously slow in most MMO's. I hope that it doesn't take forever in this now

If you have to stop that often after every fight and either almost dead or out of mp all the time you're probably fighting stuff thats waaaay out of your league.

No recovery in fights will only make a difference in longer fights , which should be tough because you have limited MP and need to make use of your recovery abilities and items (since alchemist needs a boost).



We require more clarification on this from devs....
