Make little difference either way.

Currently, you can regain HP/MP while moving in passive mode regardless of whether or not you're incurring enmity (or aggro), whereas after 1.19 you can only regain HP/MP if you remain in one spot in passive mode while incurring enmity (or aggro).
Now, whether you can regain HP/MP while in passive mode while you're moving is something that I'm not sure of (or at least, wasn't 100% convinced from the patch notes).



No thanks. At least the way it is now you don't have to wait on your character to emote through kneeling and getting back up. Just a pointless animation.

And you wonder where all the black mages went in XP parties post-ToAU in FFXI? Resting relegated them to the dust bin. We don't need resting. We don't want resting. There are better ways to handle MP recovery. Resting makes nukers useless in a dungeon crawling world.

May want to clarify on this before more false info is spread about XIV's older successful brother -
ToAU was the era of TP-burns, for two reasons:
1. Mobs resisted magic, heavily with the exception of Flans, which were melee resistant.
2. People figured it to be faster to get a BRD/WHM or COR/WHM (ugh) and 5 Melees and just destroy mobs.
It had absolutely zero to do with mana regeneration, it had to do with using nukers was inefficient in most of ToAU spots because it was Square's counter to manaburns post CoP.
Not every mob burned on was magic resistant, and even those that were, like Colibri, were only about 10% so, and the lesser ones didn't bounce magic.May want to clarify on this before more false info is spread about XIV's older successful brother -

The main issue was MP restoration. No one had time for it. Any mage job that couldn't regenerate their MP constantly just weren't invited. That was the central issue against any mage who had to rest, when it came to XP, and it continued to be that way until Abyssea came along and let the MP flow freely.
(And just as an aside: Seriously, you're not a mod here. Don't model your signature in the same fashion the official ones do. Take pride in your site, sure, but don't act like you have clout. You're a nobody like the rest of us.)

auto mp regain isn't need either. But you guys complain about low mp all the time, spells cost to much, well this would help..... Don't understand you people some times.....
