I'm beginning to think there's some racism against Elezen Duskwights going on here... We're both Primal Maelstrom but can't get in whilst non-Duskwights on Primal Maelstrom just mosey on in! >_>Primal
Maelstrom
270 minutes
Healer (140~ minutes)
DPS (130~ minutes)
No pops. I gave up. Queue'd early this morning, right after reset/patch, and then again at 8PM EST. Left the queue around 10PM EST; never got a single match.
I tried with roulette as well for about an hour mid-day, no luck with either.
Thursday and lots of people are reporting 20+ min ques across 2 grand companies on aether Data center. Wednesday night not sure if maitenance affected ques but average was between 15 and 20. People still getting lost in que with some in instant pops and some going over 30 all qued with the same settings except class and rank.
Friday afternoon, 6:30 PM EST, average wait time 19 minutes three days after the new PVP mode came out and my character is just sitting there while I'm thinking of withdrawing and logging off to play a game that actually works. WTG SE.
Edit- Done. Just got off work for the week, my free time is too valuable for this bull$h1t.

Aether.
Balmung.
Maelstrom.
Average wait time: 28 mins.

I had a thought the other day - I wonder if the game is trying to match levels in the DF (to create fairness - *cough*) and what we're seeing is that higher level players are getting in. Lower level players are getting grouped together (those who play to get marks for glamour) and get in. However, those in the middle, say levels 20-35 aren't getting matched as there's not enough for 72 man games if everyone outside that level range.
Evidence used in theory:
I know people who are lower than casual PVP players (like have played only a few games) who are getting quick pops. I know dedicated PVP players who play several times a day who are getting quick pops. These are for all GCs, some even capped esoterics on the first day purely via PVP. Meanwhile several casual PVPers, like myself (lvl 27) have complained of not getting in at all. This is for Primal, especially Maelstrom.

I think it just has to do with faulty & dead lobby matching - added on top of the GC restriction - that causes issues.
I'd like to know what premade groups are getting - from anywhere from duos to trios to full Party 8 players.
Last time I tried full party was when Slaughter first released, and our full party sat in queue for over an hour while people in LSs were getting solo queues popping in ~10 minutes. Never tried again. But I'd like to - if I started to hear of some reasonable queue times during prime hours.
Tried trio today, 15 min in queue.. no pop.. gave up for in-progress solo queue
Can anyone share their premade queue times?
About 25 minutes/ Immortal Flames / Aether. They didn't fix it when ques were 3 hrs I'm guessing they aren't going to change it now.
You got stuck in a dead lobby I was playing at the time and the ques were about 10 minutes .

it is just so insane that SE seems to literally have no concept of what accessibility means.
if you want people to play your new game mode then don't put arbitrary restrictions in that block access and make people wait hours for something they should have instant access to.
absolutely unreal.
