I just hope Monk doesn't end up with another Claw weapon.

For the love of all Martial Arts type characters they really shouldn't put so much claw weapons for MNKs in 3.0. MNKs need some Knuckle weapon love.

So far I'm just going to stick with Rising Sun since I like the weapon look and it is one of the few Knuckle weapons in 3.0 for MNKs.

Kinda glad these aren't the new relics, the NIN weapon looks too similar to Yoshimitsu and the MNK weapon is just hideous (imo). I don't know much about weapons from previous FF games though. =/

It may be hideous for you but I find Rising Sun look just fine. Most of the Good looking weapon deisgns for MNK weapons so far been going right into the production of Claw Weapons to the point it is as if SE wants to remove Knuckle Weapons from MNKs.

Well I did say that it was my opinion, I know others may like the look of it. I do find designs similar to Sphairai and the new PvP weapon to be better suited for a Monk.
