What to do with all these poetics?

I was honestly expecting the new crafting materials for the 170-180 items to require Poetics tomes to purchase just like they did with Coke, Potash ect. Doing this gives people something else to spend tomes on and is good for the in-game economy as it allows non-crafters to acquire gil and it gives crafting people options in getting the materials they need.

Maybe this will change in the patch on Thursday but right now all the new gear looks to be locked behind Red Scrips which allows people to only purchase 2-3 ingredient items per week due to the 450 cap with no other ways to get them atm.

If I remember it right, newest tome mats was always obtainable with the highest tome, not the lowest tome.

Sorry but poetics are the incentivized reward that were added to multiple roulettes. If you want people to be incentivized to do them, it should not be with rewards that are useless They should either make them useful, or add in a different reward that is.

If you want to level up your desynthese, the poetics are not even near to useless.

What I think the OP is trying to ask for (although doing a bad job of it) is that they replace Poetics complete with law. Make the old poetic items purchasable with law tokens (at a lower cost) and just make it so that you can receive law tokens regardless of your job. I think this would please both parties. Glamour people could still to glamours and people who want gear without feeling like they are completely wasting their time can get a useful token for increasing gear level of alts.

So long the job is level 60 and law only get added to poetic without replacing it, why not.

Why should you have to be level 60 to get law? I think thats what level 60 currently gets. Poetics are useless after level 50, so you should get law then as well. Or do like the other person said, and just make all the old glamour stuff cost varying amounts of law, and start rewarding everyone with some scaling amount of law.

Or do what I said, stop referring to something as useless just because you do not like the use. Just like the tomes needing 50 to get them in arr, you need to be max level to get the currency you use at max level to gear up. It is part of personal progression.

The only thing I would get behind, is for those who do not partake in glamours, add something like venture coins purchasable with old poetics as well. As those are always useful.

Because a job lower than 60 already get exp instead of law. Exp and law would be OP.
The same reason why a job lower than 50 don't get tomes for lv 50 gear.

The only thing I would get behind, is for those who do not partake in glamours, add something like venture coins purchasable with old poetics as well. As those are always useful.

Or the mats for lv50 star crafts. it is a bit sad that SE removed them from the tome shop.
