Thavnairian Silk Adjustment

So, I am very curious as to this adjustment. Has anyone done any Dragonskin maps today? If so, what are your results?

As of last night, I had completed 17 of my own maps, as well as helped a friend with about 6 of hers with not a single silk drop. I've also read of people doing upwards of 30-40 maps with 0-1 silk dropping.

i seen 3 silks drop now instead of one.. but rng is still low as hell..

Did some maps with friends, we saw 7 silks in about 7 maps (3x silk twice, 1x silk once, 0 on the rest)

I actually did two maps last night. First map got me the three silks I needed for the body! Second map was a leather. I just need three more silks for the legs and arms, and I'm good!

But, I'm very grateful SE did make an adjustment to this item. I wanted these pieces because they're awesome glamour, not just to sell for gil on the MB.

10 maps since the adjustment, not one silk. Or leather for that matter. plenty of buttons though!

So, after doing many more maps since I created this thread, my conclusion is this:

SE did not up the drop rate at all. They did however, add two new drops of 2 silk or 3 silk bundles to the drop table. However, drop rates are still ridiculously low.

In total, I have done approximately 50 maps, including about 30 of my own and about 20 of friends or FC members. I have seen silk drop exactly three times. The first two times were FC members' drops and the third time was my post above right after this last patch where I got a bundle of three.

You should probably buy a lottery ticket, because that is VERY lucky.
