Artifact gear

Sorry if this is in the patch notes, I looked through and couldn't see anything. I know there will be AF2 gear but will AST, MCH and DRK be getting Artifact gear at all? I couldn't see anything and I'm double checking before I cry into my coffee.

All three of them do indeed have an af armour I can confirm ^^

Thanks Azuta. Hopefully it looks like it did in the demos. I do wish we'd gotten something at 50 for glamor, but that's neither here nor there.

Anytime! Yeah would have been nice to see what an af1 would look like for them. Though yeah the gear from the benchmark and previews is what there af looks like.

They will get their Artifact Armor through the Allagan Tomestones of Esoterics.

For the Dark Knight, it’s the “Chaos” set with the “Death Bringer” weapon.
For the Astrologian, it’s the “Welkin” set with the “Atlas” weapon.
For the Machinist, it’s the “Machinist” set with the “Ferdinand” weapon.

All of the "AF" gear that you saw in the videos (including the new job sets) are the new Esoteric Tomestones gear.

Also, the job unique weapons (such as the Dark Knight's Death Bringer) is an Esoteric Tomestone weapon.

The new Relic weapons have not been added yet. These weapons will most likely require a complex process to complete like the relic weapons from 2.0-2.5.

Bah thanks guys, you're all amazing. I was looking through at work like "I know it's here somewhere". You know, like when you're in a supermarket and look for something, can't find it, ask someone and it's right next to you haha.

Eso gear though. That'll take a while to get a full set. But something to look forwards to. A little piece of me still cries that we didn't get something at 50 that I could glamor but that's the price to pay for a second generation class.
