Gearing Alts, stand in gear until you have Tome gear and drops for Savage Alex.
Well, besides having to wait months to get the full i200 set, there is no point.
The weekly cap on Esoterics. It will take weeks/months to get full i200 set.
If you want better gear in less time, you will still have to run Alex Normal.
Because, there are people out there who don't do endgame raids over and over. Many players didn't spam Coil for gear and they won't spam Alex Savage either. Regular Alexander will be more like the goto for the regular player, like how the Crystal Towers were.
Hasn't it always been this way? Do raid, cap tomes, buy gear, hope some gear drops in raid.
Get lucky or don't... eventually get all BiS after some months.
The only difference now is you get some raid tokens too... right?
They never gave away weps so easy {Gardes Be ready for face roll 24 man? So you can get i200 gear from the 24 man?} how do you know what the ilvl will be?
I thought this was the "story mode" version of the raid that everyone was always clamoring for. They got what they wanted, to see the story in an easy raid that just happens to drop some loot on top of that.
Unless you're talking about savage mode, too. XD I guess I'd have to say it's there for the challenge :-P
