Think you're mistaking the esoteric upgrade items, with law upgrade items. You can now buy law upgrades with law tomes, only mention of esoteric upgrades was from gordian trade in items, which are gotten from Alexander Savage.

So once again crafting "endgame" is crafting crafting and gathering gear? Ugh... SE, please, for the love of god, just copy Final Fantasy XI... The Abjuration system in that game would be perfect for crafting here, easily adaptable too; We already have items to upgrade tomestone gear to the raid iLevel, just do the same thing for crafted gear. Take Illuminati Gobtwine and trade it in with your crafted Adamantite Pauldroncoat of Maiming (i180) to boost its iLevel to i210 and Spiritbond it to you. Done. That gives us three options for gearing at the max iLevel; Tomestones, Raids, and investing in crafted gear. I love crafting in this game, but I hate how essentially everything I make for DoW/DoM just boils down to a glamour piece in the end... I want to make gear I can use, not gear I can glamour on top of the actually useful gear...

The fact that Alex normal requires you to either run a floor four times or to have a prayer answered from RNGesus to get a single piece of what is probably just another piece of a complete item, makes the time investment vs. reward clearly biased against Alex. Furthermore why do Rav Ex (which I cleared about 18 times for idk why), when you can get an i200 weapon in eight days? The content is irrelevant to anyone with common sense and time-management savvy.

Because, in eight days, you can only have one weapon.
In one week, you can drop several weapons from Rav EX (In case you have multiple jobs at 60) and several loots from Alex Normal.

The changes to DRK are aws...wait a minute!

The Savage tokens drop for you once per floor per week. Only once. You cannot farm it. It will take 8 weeks of clearing 4th floor Savage to get you the weapon, unless it drops for you before that, in which case the best outcome is to to clear to 4th floor today and get your weapon today.

Or is the iLv200 not the Savage weapon? I didn't look into the iLvs in the list of newly added items.

Won't be 8 days but 3 weeks or let's say 15 days(remember 450/week and the weapon costs 990 eso). i200 is esoterics with an upgrade item to 210. 210 is savage direct and yeah takes 8 clears.
