I wonder if they'll be crafted gear? Since there doesn't seem to be much end game crafting

Release a new set of gear for every job for the next two patches, that only a fraction of the playerbase can afford? I see that going over so well.

Yeah, if they are Esoterics as it seems it will take long. Don't take me wrong, I'm happy it's not bound by some RNG. Though I'll probably start with the body of my main cause I don't really see getting Alex body soon anyway so not even caring about checking what BiS but as always body/legs will be the most expensive pieces so not going to have them soon.

well AF2 stuff is new tomes. 450 cap a week so what...like 3 months to fully gear left side either for wanting full set or if you don't plan to do savage? For a game that pushes the idea of leveling anything on one character, they sure do a hell of a job of screwing over those that play multiple jobs. basically, I can choose one job to gear up to 210. Have a gimp healer for about 3 months, then have a gimp dps for about 6 months. awesome.

I wouldn't say they PUSH the idea of leveling everything on one character. You can if you want to, but you are still expected to have a sort of a "main" and gear that one first.

As far as I remember since 1.0 it was a huge selling point.

edit: either way i feel like weekly cap would be better suited by job instead of by character.

Also, i200 with i210 upgrade? Good thing I finished alex, that place is going to be dead now. Way to go SE. Worked on content, pushed content out and not even 2 weeks after, kill off content. Either alex normal will be dead or huge queues because we all know the majority of people are just going to get i200/i210 one 1 job then be fine with law gear on the rest and depending on the difficulty of savage, that too could be dead, seeing as it has the same ilvl and people QQ if anything is "too hard".

Alex is still kicking as of right now. I have a feeling everybody is thinking the same thing my friend and I are. Get the boot, helm, gloves, and chain from Alex NM, buy the upper and lower with Esoterics, and get the weapons from Ravana. Because right now, that would be the shortest way to gear out a class if you have multiple mains.

Personally I think it's way too high priced tomes wise and the gained per week is so low. They halfassed the fuck out of it.

Ninja gear that actually looks Ninja like, so i am excited
