Restricting us to a Single company is the Worst design decision Yoshida has made yet.

Personally, I think nearly everything he has done to crafting is going to back fire in every way possible, but nothing compares to this bone-headed move.

I completely and totally disagree with this post. I can't believe all the qq'ing I'm seei... wait a tick. Sure I can believe it, because there are about 50 professional whiners on this site who can't even wait until content is out to start bitching endlessly about it...

I'm withholding judgment until a rep comments on it, but in this case bringing up concerns prior to the patch is legitimate; since the choice of company is irreversible, people want to know the consequences beforehand.

I'm not going as far to say it's boneheaded though. If it's a minor reward, it doesn't matter very much.

Now, mass of people will join same company. Less gridania this way, because they will follow the mass instead of their fav. place. It is not choice of individual now, it is a choice of groups or ch. of large groups.

What a bunch of BS!!! Your LS isn't forcing you to do anything. They don't have the power to force you to do anything.

If your LS is such a group of jerks, that they would ostracize you over this essentially meaningless part of the game - that you don't even know makes a difference yet - then you should probably seek out a new crew of friends.

Ok, we need statement what is the difference in full pt bonus or mixed pt bonus. I dont want to meet similiar things like :

And if this was a try how to make other cities more lively. Then it did not work good at all, at least our ls will get united again. And everyone will go to uldah instead between 3 cities as we planned originally.

Honestly its not going to be a big deal. You're still going to get the legendary weapons regardless. I still say people should just go with whatever company they want.
