New looting dialogue is a bit annoying, please separate the roll from the 'cast lot'

I do not really care when someone presses the button in the loot window. It just spams the chat dialogue with information that is pretty useless in most situations.

I do care, however, who rolled what and what number they got. Currently the chat filter lumps the "casts his/her lot" with the "has rolled x" dialogue. I would like to please request to separate these two messages since I really do not care when someone pushes the first button, but I would like to see what they rolled when the numbers come out.

Yeah I'm not sure why they put this clutter in, it's not like loots gonna go on a one way trip to Mars if someone's not reminded to roll.

They could of just done it the FFXI way...but I know how much they want to stay away from taking from that game..:X

This was done because there would be trolls at the end of World of Darkness who would not pass or lot on an alliance wide drop, like Puff of Darkness, leaving a dozen people with relatively high lots stuck there for 5 minutes until it auto passed. Now we know who to yell at.

I would like it when someone passes for it to SAY that, though. I had some panic the other day because I passed an item for someone who had requested it, and it said I cast my lot for it. No I didn't cast a lot, I passed! The system should specify that.

Removing the anonymity removes SOME of the incentive for trolling.

Not when I can look a troll's character up on the Lodestone, and blacklist them if they happen to be on my server.

Prior to this change, we had no way of knowing which person had failed to lot. Now we at least know.

O_o That sounds abit sad to me, but I guess there's all sorts of enjoyment to be had online.
