    The que times zzzz

I'm fairly new to the game, have played it for a few days, but wow at these que times. I know because im not a healer, or tank ill have a longer que time. The main storyline ties in with dungeons and trials, so i'll have my leveling progress completely halted and sit in que roughly 3 hours for each dungeon. Putting the storyline quests in the dungeons is a cool idea, but its not fun when you have to sit and wait for hours on end just to wait for a que to pop, so you can continue your leveling and fates really do get boring after a while. I would play a tank, or a healer, but im not experienced at the game.

Are you making sure you have all languages, and 'In Progress' checked? If not the wait time can be inflated.

As you get higher in level you will use roulette more often and or be queuing for content in demand, this will help queue times. As a DD of course your queue will be generally longer than that of the healer or tank but it should get better. Right now you have to queue for that one specific story dungeon, which means everyone else doing the same thing on different dungeons or as many DD definitely does not help you out, .

If you're a part of a FC you can also ask for help (high level characters can, when the setting is checked under duty finder options, join that instance without being synced - making it very easy to run that dungeon).

Queue times on my data center seem pretty good right now across the board (apart from optional/side content). All the dungeons get members filled in from roulettes.

The best thing you can do is not wait, but rather do activities while the DF is seeking a party. Participate in FATE battles or work on crafting and gathering until the dungeon pops.

Wow. The queue times in my data center aren't anything like that, though I will say that over the last two or three days, they've been a bit longer than the "normal" 15 minutes. Even as a DD, queue times have been awesome for me as a general rule, and I've never waited more than 30 minutes for a group.

Sorry to hear it's been bad for you Jordyn! Do try the suggestions here though--check your settings in the duty finder, and work on gathering, crafting, fates, or even leveling another class while you wait. That way, the wait time won't seem so long! :-)

While it's true that damage dealers have to deal with longer wait times in DF queue than tanks or healers do, 3 hours seems way beyond anything I've seen. Even before Roulette was added to the game, I don't think they got quite that long. 15 - 30 minutes is more typical if queuing for a specific low or mid level dungeon, maybe occasionally one might go up to an hour if playing at a really low-traffic time of day, but multi-hour queue times seems like a pretty big deviation from any normal I've seen. Has it really gotten that much worse since HW launched? (Most of what I've done lately has been level 50 trials. Those are really quick for the most part, usually 5-10 minutes even for DD.)
